Two rooms, two different moods
The Park Room is bathed in natural light, with calm views across the parkland. The River Room is more intimate, ideal for smaller gatherings or alongside the Park Room. Both are dressed to match your theme.

Settle the balance
The balance is due 8 weeks before the day, by bank transfer, cash or cheque.

Your questions, answered
Can we hold our ceremony at The Olive Tree?
Yes. We are licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies, so you can marry and celebrate in the same place. As with any licensed venue, the registrars are booked separately through the local register office.
How many guests can you seat?
Each room comfortably seats 80 to 100 guests for a wedding. Open both rooms together and we can seat up to 200, with 60 more seats on the patio.
Can we marry elsewhere and hold our reception with you?
Of course. Many couples join us for the reception or the evening party only.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. We offer a self-catering option and will help with waste clearing and recycling afterwards.
Can we book our own band or DJ?
You are welcome to arrange your own entertainment. We also have an in-house DJ and a sound and lighting system that was upgraded in January 2025.
Is confetti allowed?
Biodegradable confetti only, please.
Is there somewhere for guests to stay?
We keep a list of local accommodation and are happy to send it to you.
How do we pay?
By bank transfer, cash or cheque. Our card machines are for the bar only.
